Free one-day Safe Pass course in Bray

Our next free one-day Safe Pass course takes place on Thursday 26th January 2023 in Bray. 

  • Having an up-to-date Safe Pass is often a legal requirement for working in construction
  • One-day intensive from 7.45am-5.00pm
  • Morning snacks and full lunch provided
  • You will need a reasonable understanding of English to complete this course

Course content:

  • Site safety, site safety legislation and site accident reporting
  • Introduction to risk assessment
  • Risk assessment for working at height, working with electricity and when excavating
  • General site safety, including the use of construction equipment and the safe use of vehicles
  • Personal safety, using personal protective equipment, working with noise and vibrations, manual handling and personal health and welfare

Who can do this course:

You must be living in Bray, Delgany, Enniskerry, Greystones, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue, Newcastle Lower or Newtownmountkennedy to qualify to take part, and priority will be given to people who belong to one or more of these groups:

  • Unemployed person
  • Low income worker
  • Young person 15-24 who is not currently in education, employment or training
  • Disadvantaged woman
  • Disadvantaged family
  • Lone parent
  • From a new community
  • Living in a disadvantaged area
  • Person with a disability
  • Substance misuser
  • Traveller
  • Roma
